Practice Areas
Debbie has more than two decades of professional legal experience in the fields of commercial, business, and real estate litigation. Debbie also maintains an active family law practice and advises clients on trusts, estate planning, prenuptial agreements, and other forms of asset protection and distribution.
Debbie is licensed to practice in the states of Georgia and Tennessee. Debbie is also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia and the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Successfully litigated, at trial and on appeal, cases involving confirmation of real estate foreclosure sales.
Participated in successful defense of multiple lender liability claims involving a real estate development in Florida.
Obtained experience in litigation regarding Georgia's RICO statute and other civil business torts and represented numerous commercial landlords in landlord/tenant disputes.
Represented numerous individuals in successfully resolving divorce and child custody disputes and guardianship proceedings, through trial or settlement, and in negotiation of prenuptial agreements and handling adoptions.
