Jonathan joined Schreeder, Wheeler & Flint as a bankruptcy and general litigation associate in August 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Margaret H. Murphy of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Jonathan's litigation practice focuses on disputes regarding real estate, commercial leases, business contracts, and business debt in both state and federal courts. Jonathan also has experience defending actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Georgia consumer protection actions, and intellectual property infringement actions.
Jonathan has significant experience in a wide range of bankruptcy matters, including representing corporate debtors, creditors, and equity interest holders in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases. Jonathan's bankruptcy court experience includes prosecuting and defending adversary proceedings regarding the avoidance and recovery of fraudulent transfers, the dischargeability of debts, and the respective rights and responsibilities of parties in the context of Georgia law and federal bankruptcy law.
Jonathan is licensed to practice in the State of Georgia.
